Description

This is a rare DOM brand dimple key cylinder with the interactive ball bearing at the tip of the key. The moveable ball bearing frustrates duplication on a hand made blank because the floating ball bearing is hard to reproduce in a “one-off” basis.

What makes this sample unique is the split key which requires both halves to be inserted before the cylinder will turn. The theory being that two people must be present to unlock the cylinder.
