The perfect product to compliment a safe repair when you just HAVE to drill outside the dial ring. These plates will speed up the repair process and eliminate paint matching. (You still need to plug your hole, because you are a professional, right?)
Current production as of December 2023 – these plates are now .064 raw aluminum with a grained finish similar to architectural 627 BUT without the clear coating. You can quickly clear coat OR paint it in the field. The plates accept spray paint easily.
If the plates become scratched in handling they are easy to repair. Just use a sanding block, and fine grit sandpaper, and sand with the grain. See the blog post about re-finishing.
